Day Three (Part One)

Hey guys.. I lost an ooh yah pay yah som so im gg to have to blog for two days straight =( everyone's asleep except me. We woke up to a very dreary morning today - 9 degrees with wind and rain - not v good for tsukiji market outings. We were out of the hotel at 5.30am, and when we reached tsujiki, we didn't know that we could be killed in the traffic. People in boots were driving about in some funny trolley thingie at fast pace around the whole of the market, we literally had to look 360 degrees to make sure we wouldn't get knocked down. But other than that, Tsukiji was fun - I have never seen a fish market of this scale in my whole life. And the maguro.. woohoo.

Octopus lined up in a box: we saw sea urchin, some eel thingies, tons of fish, and a lot of stuff I didn't recognise. The fishmongers (?) were really reverent with it - look at the length of this thing!

That's the maguro, or tuna. It can go up to ten thousand US bucks a fish. tmd.

The market stretched on for metres ahead, and we only managed to walk one row.

This was what almost hit us every new crossing. Shat scary lah.

And we decided, we had to go for a real sushi breakfast. This chef was nice =)

Sushi! Proud of Huanggers for trying something she didn't like!

Oops. Blogger seems to have hung on me, I'll try to blog on another post. To be continued!

Signing off,
Vel
