And then we headed to the famous Kaminarimon in Asakusa, to visit the Sensoji Temple. It was a great experience, and really crowded, because it was the weekend. The temple itself was kind of cool as well.

After leaving the crowd behind we headed for Kappabashi, which was about a fifteen-minute walk away. There we searched for the plastic food sample shops to get uh- plastic food samples - that were freakin real, by the way. You'll see us using them when we come back!

Then we made our way to Ueno's Ameyayokocho Market, where they got their seaweed, and Japanese snacks, and everything in between. It was crowded (duh), but damn fun. Cheap stuff!

This guy was selling Ameyokoyaki, which was a little like okonomiyaki, but hundred times better than the one you have in Singapore pasar malam. Which sucks, a lot. He was nice! After asking where we were from, he said "hor jiak!". >_<"

And then we went home after a short stop at Akihabara to get Yanting's friend's electronic dictionary, tired out. Dinner was a chinese affair. See Yanting had sheng mian of sorts..

And the rest of us had ramen, and fried rice, and gyoza. Darryn loved the gyoza loads think he was really hungry? But it was not too bad.
So that concludes Day Five of our trip - forecast's for rain tomorrow, and we're heading for Harajuku! Hope we get good pictures back. =)
Missing everyone,
Velda
